Y-shaped spider, AISI 316, GRIT 320

Description

A Y-shaped spider is a metal fastener that is used in the upright and facade glazing to fasted a glass sheet to a bearing structure. It is made by casting from high-quality AISI 316 stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and aggressive ambient factors. It has brushed surface GRIT 320.

Purpose
It is used to create fully transparent glass facades, partitions and canopies. It allows to minimize the number of visible fasteners. It provides a modern and aesthetic appearance of structures, as well as ensures reliable fastening of glass panels.

Assembly and installation
The spiders are fixed on the bearing elements of the structure using various fasteners, depending on the type and the structure of spider. Routels with pre-installed glass are attached to the spiders.
